President of “Dimensions Center for Strategic Studies” concludes a visit to the Sudanese capital Visits

During a visit to the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, President of Dimensions Center for Strategic Studies (DSS), Mr. Muhammed Sarmini, held a series of meetings with effective political, military and research institutions.
Mr. Sarmini had talks with a member of the Sovereign Council, Abu al-Qasim Muhammad Bartam. He also met with the Sudanese Government’s Minister of Social Development, Ahmed Adam Bakhit.
During visits to the Nimeiri Higher Military Academy and the Higher Security Academy, Mr. Sarmini met several leaders and senior officers of the Sudanese Army. Sarmini was briefed on the work of the two institutions, and aspects of possible cooperation with them.
During his visit, the DSS President had meetings with leaders of most of the active political parties in Sudan, in addition to several diplomatic figures in Khartoum.
Moreover, many media outlets, including the Sudanese TV, interviewed Mr. Sarmini during his presence in Khartoum.
Mr. Sarmini’s discussions with Sudanese officials focused on challenges facing Sudan and possible solutions and ways to address them. He pointed out the possibility of DSS launching certain potential political initiatives aimed at achieving political stability in the country and advancing economic development through optimising the utilization of local resources.
This visit comes as part of the DSS’ endeavor to build partnerships in the region, and to reach visions and perceptions of the region's issues through the eyes of its people.
The visit took place in coordination and cooperation with the African Center for Governance Peace and Transition Studies (AcoGaps), within a partnership between the two sides to share experiences and knowledge.
